Katie is best known for her work at XM Satellite Radio where she worked as an engineer in the Performance Theatre. If you ever heard a live performance by a band on Liquid Metal like Soulfly (Roadrunner Records), Candiria (Type A/Sony) or Lamb of God (Epic Records), it was Katie manning the mix. No puns intended.

Her talents haven’t stopped at metal though, her live performance mixes include the likes of jazz great Larry Carlton, Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes, Gavin DeGraw, Switchfoot, and Musiq Soulchild. Katie could also be heard over the airwaves as a DJ on Channel 42, the now defunct Liquid Metal. She is always on Facebook and changes her hair color every month.
