Austin Bergstrom Airport (AUS) Getting here from the airport is easy! Straight down Route 290, we are 25 minutes away. Someone here may even come pick you up!

Amtrak (AUS) If you are anywhere that you can take the train to Austin, do it. The station here is small and quaint. Certainly not the crowd and hassle of NY or DC! Fares from Dallas to Austin still sit as low as $23.

 

FOOD

Epicure Hands down the best food in Dripping Springs, 5 minutes away! Our good friends Chef Julio Llop and Curator Jerry Gray serve amazing food and wine. We have never had a bad meal here. When people ask “where should we eat?” this is our answer.

Fast Food: Within 5 minutes of studio… Sonic, Burger King, McDonald’s, Dairy Queen, Thundercloud Subs, Whataburger, Taco Bell, Schlotsky’s, Chicken Express.

Food/restaurants: Within 5 minutes of studio… Skull and Cakebones (Vegan/Vegetarian food and bakery), Austin Java (literally across the street:  burgers to breakfast to coffee, also has a vegan friendly menu), Trudy’s Four Star Restaurant, Flores Mexican, Aroi Thai, Pieous Pizza, Homespun Restaurant. Mazama coffee, Starbucks coffee.

 

ATTRACTIONS

Pedernales Park. We can’t believe this scenic place is 20 minutes from us. If you need to clear your head after your drummer drives you mental, this is the place. It’s gorgeous. Drummers are welcome too.

Salt Lick BBQ We have world famous BBQ 15 minutes away! BBQ that is seen on travel channel, Food Network and viral food videos. Some of the best in the States. You may think “it’s just BBQ” …that is, until you eat here.

 

ALCOHOL!

Treaty Oak Distilling If you know us, you know we like to drink our local bourbon. We don’t drink it because it’s local, we drink it because it is amazing. You can take tours here, buy spirits, and also sit in on their scenic land and have a meal. Their food is perfect as well.

Deep Eddy Vodka People from all over the world already know Deep Eddy Vodka, but you may not know not they are our next door neighbors! 5 minutes down our road, you can take tours, buy spirits, merchandise, and be back before your lunch break is over!
